8 week course, there will be no class on President's Day or Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
18 and up
Beginners will receive instruction in the fundamentals of basic wheel throwing, centering the clay on the wheel, forming cylinders, bowls and mugs. We will teach you everything you need to know to create a pot on the wheel. Glazing techniques will also be covered. A Raku Firing is part of the class at the end of the quarter.
