Application Process
Membership application is available to potters who have completed a class, or been a member with us, within the last three years. Students may request a membership application from their current teacher, or by emailing membership@urbanartcoop.org. With the teacher’s recommendation, the application is presented to the Membership Onboarding Committee and approved by vote.
Returning members have to fill out a membership contract every year in order to keep their membership current.
Orientation:
After new members have been approved, they attend a short orientation meeting with information about membership privileges and duties. Once they have completed their orientation, their membership becomes active: They are assigned a locker if one is available and are added to the member lists.
